MOTION SENSING PRODUCTS

Snyder motion sensors are widely used in professional applications for alerting at doorways, store entrances, and any locations where people sensing is needed. The old light beam systems are last century technology. The small sensor, placed above a door, creates an infrared sensing curtain, precisely alerting of passage through the curtain.

The Receiver/Chime may be placed at any remote location, such as a backroom. They are coupled by a low power radio signal-no wires! Installation consists of locating the sensor, placing the Receiver/Chime and plugging into an AC socket. Installation done!

A variant on the system uses a pressure sensitive mat coupled with an RF transmitter. The mat is typically placed at a service window, in a doorway, or at a bedside. The same RF Receiver/Chime is used with either system.

A new version of the sensor, just announced, uses a more sophisticated sensor technology. By special signal processing, it senses whether the person is moving into or out of the portal. It is directionally sensitive! This information may be used by any monitoring system to record traffic flow or to control an RFID reader.
